Miles Yucht
I'm a staff software engineer and the founder of Myriad Technologies. I spent the first decade of my career at Databricks, building the product from its initial public launch and first five customers to the tens of thousands of customers it has today.
Control plane
My primary focus at Databricks was the control plane. I built a scalable, multitenant architecture to support the platform's growth from a handful of customers to tens of thousands. I led projects integrating Databricks with various cloud providers, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
Billing
For three years I led the billing area. I built a robust, error-checked billing pipeline, supported decisions on the pricing of various products, onboarded new products, and integrated with the billing platforms of several cloud providers and online payment services.
API infrastructure
As tech lead of the API infrastructure team, I defined the API standards used across Databricks and enforced a high quality bar to keep the Databricks API as consistent and simple as possible, even as the company moved fast and expanded quickly. That framework is the foundation for the Databricks SDKs and CLI. There, I worked extensively on the Databricks Terraform provider and led its development for several years, including automating the onboarding of new resources to the provider.
Myriad Technologies
I founded Myriad Technologies in 2026 to help young companies build the same kind of foundations early, before they become expensive to change. Early founders with big ideas often need guidance mapping those ideas to concrete architecture and design. I bring my proven approach, refined at one of the world's most successful software companies, to help you bring your dream to reality.
